This four day private tour can be combined with a week long holiday in Tunisia from the resorts on the Carthage Coast, Hammamet, Sousse or Port El Kantaoui.
Depending on your arrival date you will spend 2 or 3 nights in a resort hotel before travelling south on our 4 day adventure. On completion of the tour you return to a resort hotel for 1 or 2 nights.

Day 1 |
Visit the Coliseum at El Djem then take lunch at a hotel in the maritime oasis of Gabes. See craggy mountain srongholds and fortified citadels (Ksour) including Ksar Haddada which featured in Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace. Visit to Ghomrassen then travel to Tataouine - a market town. Have dinner and stay overnight at the Hotel Sangho Privilège in Tataouine. |

Day 2 |
After breakfast continue your journey through the Ksour region visiting the restored ksour (a fortified citadel) at Ksar oueld Soltane and the ksours at Chenini and Douiret. Then travel to the Troglodyte village of Matmata (which featured in Star Wars Episode IV). Break for lunch then visit a troglodyte cave dwelling in Matmata. Continue west to Douz, also called the 'Gateway to the Sahara'. Dinner and overnight at the Mehari Camp in the desert. Optional camel ride. |

Day 3 |
Cross the Chott El Jerid salt lake to Tozeur then back to the desert to visit a Star Wars film set at Onc el Jemel. After lunch, we drive up in the Atlas mountains to visit the spectacular oases of Chebika, Tamerza and Mides. Dinner and overnight stay at the 4 star Hotel Ras El Ain (or similar) in the oasis town of Tozeur. |

Day 4 |
Leave Tozeur travelling through the region of the 'pink' mountains to the phosphate town of Metlaoui where you will board the famous Lizard Rouge train for the journey through the Gorges of Selja. Lunch in Gafsa and onwards via Kairouan to your resort hotel. |
