This Roman Discovery Tour can be added to your resort based holiday on

The tour is based in Tunis and departs on a Tuesday. Travel is by 4x4
land cruiser or minibus with an English speaking driver/guide and 2 nights
accommodation in the 4 star Tunisia Palace in Tunis

Depart
from your resort hotel and travel to Byrsa Hill for a visit to the
Carthage museum. From Byrsa Hill you can take in the panorama of
Carthage. Next stop on your tour is Carthage itself. Take lunch
in the pretty fishing village of 
Tunis/Dougga/Bulla

Today
we leave Tunis and travel south to Thuburbo Majus one of the most
scenic ancient ruins in Tunisia. From Thuburbo Majus continue your
journey south to one of the most spectacular sites in Tunisia, the
Roman Coliseum at El Djem. Built in 230-238 AD this is the world's
third largest Roman amphitheatre and the best preserved Roman relic
to be found in Africa. Take lunch during your visit to El Djem then,
we will return you to your resort hotel.Tour prices:
