Close to the main resort hotels is the Djerba Golf Club, designed by the British golf course architect Martin Hawtree. This 27-hole golf course cleverly combines: A 'Championship' 18 hole links course and an 'Executive' 9 hole links course for those with just a little time on their hands. The Djerba Golf Club was the first in Africa to introduce the 'David Leadbetter Golf Academy' with an air conditioned video equipped salon for the analysis of the swing, and a covered practice green.
