Set in a lush 5 hectares garden of lemon & olive trees and bordered
by exotic flowers, the Hotel Le Hammamet is close to the centre of Hammamet.
Description:
Popular with British holidaymakers for many years this fine hotel has
recently been upgraded to 4 stars. Once through the entrance you enter
a large reception hall with exchange bureau, safety deposit boxes and
luggage room. You can enjoy local and international cuisine in the buffet-style
restaurant or for that special occasion go a la carte in restaurant Le
Carthage. There's also a Pizzeria, Creperie, Snack Bar, Beach Barbecue
and Moorish Café. Take drinks in the Blue Bar or the Queen Vic.
For exercise you'll find a large outdoor pool with sun terraces, children's
pool, indoor pool (heated in winter) and fitness room. For relaxation
a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna and massage. During the day a small entertainment
team offers a variety of sports and leisure activities including tennis,
mini golf, archery, darts, French bowls, water-polo and table tennis and
for the evening you can enjoy folklore, dancing, karaoke and cabaret.
On the beach you'll find windsurfing, pedaloes, water ski-ing, jet ski,
para-gliding, catamarans, boat trips and beach volley ball. (some of these
activities will attract a charge). To complete the list of amenities there's
a shop, bazaar and unisex hairdresser.

and heated in the winter dotted around the garden and each with private
