The Hotel Kanta is situated in the heart of Port El Kantaoui resort some 6
kms from Sousse.
Description:
Popular with British holidaymakers for many years this versatile complex
provides a choice of hotel or self-catering accommodation which is ideal
for couples or families alike. Set amidst extensive and beautiful
gardens there are two large outdoor swimming pools and separate
pool for children. Available free of charge for guests are parasols, sunbeds
and mattresses. Other amenities include a children's playground,
mini-golf, table tennis, Bridge room and three tennis courts (floodlit
and equipment available for hire). An 'Irish Pub' opened in 2007.
Within the grounds you'll find a leisure centre comprising 3 fully equipped conference rooms for between 30 and 200 people, an indoor heated swimming pool, games room, fitness centre, brasserie, Health and Beauty centre with sauna and massage.
The hotel has a comfortable and elegant interior with souvenir shop, two lounges, snack bar and American Bar. There is a main restaurant providing a mixture of hot & cold buffet-style dishes and waiter service. An a la carte menu is available.
At a distance of 800 metres and separate from the hotel complex is a private section of beach with snack bar, showers, umbrellas and sunbeds, served by shuttle bus during the summer months.
The 36-hole El Kantaoui golf course is just 5 minutes walk away.
